  1. Troy, I enjoyed your adventures in Vietnam via your videos. While you’re a funny guy and some of your antics sometimes seem over the top, there are moments in them that show that deep down, you’re a good guy (i.e. giving money to the homeless, etc.)

So how do your fans donate via Paypal? What’s the email associated with your Paypal account?

  2. Hey troy, I just want to say I love your videos, I’m vietnamese-american and originally grown up in district 4; not having been home in ages it’s nice to see how home is now. I’m going to Thailand in 3 weeks hopefully I get to visit . Keep making the great videos!

  3. Hey Troy, My name is Joe Pinzone and I’m casting an international travel show about expats moving abroad. We’d love to film in Vietnam and wanted to know if you could help us find expats who have moved there within the last 15 months or have been there for 3-4 years, but recently moved into a new home. The show documents their move to a new country and will place the country in fabulous light. The contributors on the show would also receive monetary compensation if they are filmed. If you’d like more information, please give me a call at 212-231-7716 or skype me at joefromnyc. You can also email me at joepinzone@leopardusa.com. Looking forward to hearing from you.

  4. I have watched a ‘lot’ of your YouTube videos and thank you!
I am Caucasian with a long beard; it may be a bit hard for me to blend. I am planning a visit to Vietnam in May of 2017. I currently live in San Diego but have traveled throughout the States, Western Europe, Mexico, and lived in Costa Rica for a couple of years. I bought the ‘Rosetta Stone’ tutorial for my visit.
I don’t have much, by California standards. I would like to give small donations ($20-$40) monthly, as you meet “what ‘you’ think” would be grateful Vietnames children.
Please send me the link for Vietnamese donations. Keep it up and perhaps I’ll meet you at random in Vietnam.
    Be well and kind,

  6. Hi Troy! I came across your videos and I haven’t stopped watching them. You’re as crazy as you are genuinely sweet (and I love your accent)! Anyhow, I was wondering if you do any type of collaborative/charity work. I’m from CA and will be heading to Vietnam in the near future to do a few symposiums at local schools and hospitals. I was wondering if you work with other professionals who want to help! Keep up the great work!

  7. Great vids Troy , love them, before we go any further , I’m white, English , read your comments about some of us, I’m ok with that, I’m not in that bracket you were referring to, anyway, I love Vietnam, have friends in Saigon, love the people, but hate the Starbucks, KFC, and most recently, LV shops and Chanel, love Mekong, Con Dao, PhÆ°á»›c Quoc, Nha Trang would be better if it wasn’t in Russia, Lol, the work you have done for the less priveleged kids over there is Awseome, love to donate something for the next time you dish the cash out to them, but how do I contact you?, and make a contribution?, Mr Robert, as my friends in Saigon call me, thanks for reading, and peace out, more vids please

  9. Troy,

Shit video on District 7, try give a point of view from all angles, not make it sound like propaganda. Half the country are under 30 years old and the old mentality needs to change. As an Aussies I lived there with my Vietnamese family and so many Sai Gon locals benefit from the influx of Expats. Jobs a plenty. Western franchises employ locals and the construction industry helps. We were in sky garden and almost all apartments they were renovating used local business for good and services. So many Vietnamese owners of ‘Condos’ rent these out to the Koreans and make a livelihood plus set up the next generations. Try going to Springvale one day and do a doco and tell how they have transformed a local ‘Aussie’ area to what it is now, even though the Chinese are muscling in. I love Springvale by the way, no need for me to visit Vietnam anymore it’s all in my backyard.
Your generosity in giving your time to pass out donations is most admirable and I will use your service one day soon. Please try be less judgemental, showcase the beautiful country but let people be their own judge, your opinions are based on some sort of resentment. If you want Vietnam to be stuck in a prehistoric times, then good for you. Whenever I accompany local Vietnamese to China or Thailand they look at me with embarrassment when reflecting on the progress of their nation.
    Tony
